I am, because assuming they're good like previous generations, then these should get less expensive! (I hope)
Plan:
Buy project car sometime
Wait a year or two after new gen Tacoma hits lots, buy used Tacoma and sell current DD

Timeline for a Tacoma depends on how my long FoST lasts mileage wise. And cost, but that'll be figured out closer to then.

I like the older ones, they look better, and honestly I'm more excited for the new Titan because of the diesel. I know they're not the same class but I don't really get excited by any Toyota's.

I like older ones too, but I think by 2017 or whenever I'll need the current Gen to find a nice one easily. No Titan for me, just too big.

I'm a GM guy so I'd go for the Canyon/Colorado before I went for the Tacoma or Frontier. I'd love an older Tacoma though. But it'd be hard to take over an S-10 of the same vintage.

I can't wait to see what it will have for an engine, it more than likely won't get a diesel but I hoping it gets a good truck engine that's better on gas than the current V6 and please oh please keep the manual an option on the V6.
This will 80% sure become my next daily driver. I just hope they don't deviate to much from what they have now in the looks department.

You read my mind on all of that. I've never owned a truck and have only driven a 5.3 Vortec Silverado any significant amount so I'm not sure what I want exactly engine wise. A V6 manual with a TRD package would be ideal. 2 Doors, 4 would be ok I guess.
